Foraging & Herbal Medicine

Wendy Penrod

Willow Way Ranch

My love of herbs and medicine came from just wanting to be more self-sufficient and wanting to be healthier naturally. I love walking through the forest and just saying in my mind what I am seeing and what it's good for. There is always so much. And it fascinates me that we were given all these healing plants and so many people don't know the goodness right in front of them.

Fermenting

Jan Henderson

Simply Jan Homestead

In 2009 I found out that I had Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. I was miserable and started to research natural remedies for it. I soon found out that fermentation was the best option for gut health and thus began my journey. The benefits of fermentation are astounding! It’s my hope that I can teach you these ancient ways to ferment and improve your health.
